New projects, especially those in Least Developed Countries (LDC), involve complex risks and take time to prepare, develop, implement and assess.

Access2 Carbon Markets, Lda. is a relatively new company, set up to develop and commercialise carbon offsets from Least Developed Countries and Developing Countries which are often excluded from the benefits of carbon finance.

Access2 Carbon Markets is working with UN agencies, development organisations, and local NGOs to ensure success.

Access2 Carbon Markets is committed to develop its own projects, and has several contracts on developing projects especially in Africa and Latin America.

A vital part of the solution to climate change is to convert the world’s economies to low-carbon technologies, either through alternative energy or more efficiency energy conversion. Renewable energy and technologies to enhance energy efficiency can be both a contribution to the mitigation of GHG emissions and a business opportunity for project developers and investors.

Jointly with partner institutions and investors, e)mission is developing a number of vehicles that will allow us to leverage our skills and asset base in order to capture value throughout the clean tech value chain and in strategically important market segments.
