Journeys of Good Environmental Practices in hospitality sector in Balearic islands were e)mission neutral certified®

The Journeys of Good Environmental Practices in the hospitality sector took place on March in Alcudia (Mallorca) and were organized by the Government of the Balearic Islands. In the event, which was attended by 90 representatives for the Balearic economy, promoted the exchange of ideas to reduce the environmental impact in the hospitality sector, optimizing the energy consumption, as well as reducing the greenhouse gas emission.

In this sense, the organization of the event decided to offset the emissions from the Journeys through e)mission, offsetting 4.11 tons of CO₂eq. With this action and through the implementation of good environmental practices in hotels, the organization is giving a positive signal to the guests to feel touched by environmental issues. On the other hand, communication of such initiatives not only enables customers to value this commitment but also that they can participate and contribute to promoting a positive environmental behaviour.
