e)mission - now offering full-service voluntary carbon management throughout Iberia

e)mission, the premier quality service for measuring, reducing and offsetting carbon emissions, now provides a full suite of voluntary carbon management services throughout Portugal and Spain.

GHG, Lda., a Lisbon-based company active in the carbon markets, and lavola, S.A., an environmental services company headquartered near Barcelona, have teamed up to deliver e)mission services throughout Portugal, Spain and Andorra, working with public, private and individual clients on the path to becoming "e)mission neutral".

Under the partnership, GHG, which developed and owns the e)mission system trademark, has licensed lavola as the exclusive representative of the service brand throughout Spain and Andorra.

lavola provides various sustainability-related services, ranging from consulting, engineering, communication and education. With over 200 staff working in different regional offices, the company serves national, regional and local governments and their agencies, as well as corporate clients. lavola has excellent corporate sustainability, environmental and management credentials, and can provide leadership and support through experience. Working to ISO9001 and ISO14001 management standards, it was the first e)mission neutral organization in Spain, as well as the first Spanish company to be invited as Member of the UNEP Climate Neutral Network.

The objective of e)mission is to promote a rapid transition towards a low carbon economy and society, working with clients to take steps to reduce their respective emissions and offset those that are unavoidable. In this way, organizations, events, products, services or even households can become, or move toward becoming, "e)mission neutral".

GHG and lavola will soon be launching the e)mission neutral website for Spain ( www.e-missionneutral.com ), initially in the Catalan and Castilian languages, fully operational with nationally calibrated carbon calculators and e-commerce solutions for quick and easy offsets.
